Hi again! My journey with pharmacy was a long one! With 6 years of pharmacy school, 2 years in the field, and in total 6 years of working in the pharmacy under my belt, I thought it was time to branch out and start a new avenue which is why I created this blog. I became a pharmacist to help fix the health barriers I saw within my own family, but it was no easy task! As the second in my family to pursue higher education and the first to get a doctorate, there were many things I didn't know and had to figure out on my own. So, as a way to 'pay it forward' and make good use of the various help I've received over the years, I decided to share the things I learned to help others. Pharmacy school is a learning curve for anyone, but with dedication, perseverance and the right resources you can do it!  So, as I share my journey and the lessons I've learned before, during, and after pharmacy school, know that it is my intention to encourage and help you get though the next 6-8 years (or shorter if you've already started) of your life.
